Devonport Tasmania
by Jim Jacob
Long standing roots outfit The Waifs has just released its double album “Ironbark” .
All twenty five songs on the new release were recorded in a single session at band member , Josh Cunningham’s house in southern New South Wales , Australia. The band is now on an extensive and popular tour to promote the new set of songs.
Listening Through the Lens was at their show in Devonport , Tasmania and experienced a uniquely Australian showcase, a little gospel , a little rock , a little americana and a lot of talent , simply a great night.
