Lloyd Cole opens up his whole impressive body of work on his new tour

Lloyd Cole will release his new album Guesswork on 26th July 2019 (on the earMUSIC label). Recorded (mostly) in his attic studio in Massachusetts, Guesswork is produced by Lloyd and mixed by maverick German producer Olaf Opal, with executive production from Chris Hughes.

With a remarkable career spanning almost thirty years and following his sold-out tour of Australia in 2017, Cole returns with his new album and a set list which will see him perform a mix of his new music with old favourites.
Guesswork musically is ethereal and moody. Lyrically it reflects the uncertainty of the world as he enters another stage of life.
“I’m starting to think that old age could be a lot more fun than middle age. Because really what have we got to lose?” Lloyd Cole
His latest work contains eight new songs and reunites Lloyd with the talents of The Commotions bandmates Blair Cowan and guitarist Neil Clark. For this Australian tour, Cole will have Clark alongside him.

WOW Saw him a Hamer Hall in 2017…. and was totally impressed just him and his son (on a few songs). wasn’t expecting his dry self effacing humour also!…
