FIRST PERFORMERS FOR BRISTOL RHYTHM N ROOTS REUNION 2019 ANNOUNCED
Bristol Rhythm and Roots Reunion organisers have released the first of the artists to showcase at the 2019 event.
In what has become a tantalisingly enjoyable tradition, the initial performers get announced one-day-at-a-time in the twelve days leading up to Christmas Day. It’s a great means of introduction to the initial line-up and an exciting glimpse into the musical treats that await us over 20 to 22 September 2019 in the musically historic town of Bristol, assembled around the border of Tennessee and Virginia – in fact the State Street Stage straddles the interstate boundary.
Bristol is where The Bristol Sessions took place in 1927 unearthing The Carter Family, Jimmie Rodgers and many more. The town is officially recognised as The Birthplace Of Country Music.
Listening Through The Lens will be covering the event again (which falls on the weekend after AmericanaFest in Nashville – a beautiful double act if ever there was one!)
The GrassRoots Music Tour will be at both – PLACES OPEN NOW – come join us!
