What A Terrible World, What A Beautiful World
New Release by The Decemberists
January 20 2015
Indie folk-rock group The Decemberists as a group have been keeping a low profile for a while. Seven albums between 2002 and 2011’s excellent The King Is Dead and no sign of further recorded output since. In the interim there’s been the Popes of Pendarvia Tour, that took the band around greater North America, the UK and northern Europe. There have been appearances on television shows, songs for various soundtracks and collaborative records.
The Decemberists have announced that they are releasing a new record on January 20 2015. It’s called What A Terrible World, What A Beautiful World and features a cover by Carson Ellis, the Decemberists’ in-house illustrator. You can pre-order this record HERE.
What A Terrible World, What A Beautiful World will include fourteen songs, including “Make You Better” which you can currently stream and get an instant download of the song when you pre-order.
