Award-winning songwriter and virtuoso instrumentalist Molly Tuttle is due to put out a debut solo album entitled Rise. Produced by Kai Welch, the seven-song EP was recorded in a small studio in Nashville and will be independently released on strong
Tuttle began performing on stage when she was just eleven, appeared on A Prairie Home Companion and at San Francisco’s Hardly Strictly Bluegrass festival, collected first place for the prestigious Chris Austin Songwriting Competition at Merlefest and received a Momentum Award from the International Bluegrass Music Association in the instrumentalist category.
