EILEN JEWELL
ANNOUNCES AUSTRALIAN HEADLINE DATES
NOVEMBER 2016

Love Police Touring has announced that superb singer-songwriter Eilen Jewell and her band will return to Australia in November 2016.

Like me, some of you may have seen her playing dates in Australia with Jason Isbell earlier this or in past tours.  Eilen’s music has a timeless charm, with a sultry voice and it will be a great opportunity to catch her again.  Nice also to see that The Weeping Willows will be providing support at Melbourne’s Corner Hotel. Tickets for all shows will go on sale September 8.

Hailing from Boise, Idaho Eilen Jewell has been steadily releasing honest, alluring and confident music dating back to her self-released Boundary County album in 2006.  Since then, she has recorded five studio albums with her road-tested touring band, and two more as a member of the Boston-based, gospel-charged Sacred Shakers.

Her latest album Sundown Over Ghost Town is a masterful collection.  You can read my review of it.
