Second Weekend Added

It’s not the youngest line-up ever announced for a festival.

But it’s the most famous, with legends abounding.

Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Neil Young, Roger Waters and The Who all on the same bill, performing at a festival called Desert Trip in Indio, California on October 7-9  and 14-16 2016.

Each weekend will have the same schedule:

Friday: The Rolling Stones & Bob Dylan and His Band
Saturday: Paul McCartney & Neil Young + Promise of the Real
Sunday: Roger Waters & The Who

Indio is near the Joshua Tree National Park, a little over two hours east of Los Angeles.  The site will be the same one used for the Coachella Festival which is held every April.

Performances start after sunset and each artist will play a full set.

I wouldn’t like to be in charge of backstage hospitality – it would be demanding job I suspect!

A seating plan is now available

Ticket prices (US$) are as follows:

Single day GA tickets are $199 each while a three day GA pass is $399.  The farthest back section in the floor seating is $699 for the weekend.  The middle of the floor seating and the back half of the grandstands are $999 for the weekend.

The front of the floor seating, the front of the grandstand seating and the standing pit are all $1,599 for the weekend.

More information is available from the Desert Trip festival website.
