Brisbane Australia artist SAHARA BECK is gearing up to release her second EP BLOOM in October and will be hitting the road throughout September and October to celebrate its release.  The EP was recorded at Queensland’s Applewood studios and produced by Sahara and Sean Cook and mixed by Jeff Lovejoy.

When she arrived in Brisbane a couple of years back, the-then 16 year-old already had a full-length album behind her and a burgeoning reputation as an artist to watch.  But 2013’s release – You Could Be Happy – increased the buzz and led to two singles being issued.

“There’s a beautiful mood right throughout this song that draws you in. Then there’s Sahara’s voice, which is really something else.” – Dom Alessio, Triple J

“She has heart this girl and a bit of torture driving it. Music for the folk tent, the warm production and top-shelf performance make Beck a premium artist finding new ways to separate herself.” – Sydney Morning Herald

“Given what Sahara Beck has already achieved in her short career, it’s enough to make the rest of us feel like we’re wasting our time.” – Make the Switch

Here’s a clip of Sahara’s “Brother Sister”:

BLOOM will be released nationally on October 6 through SUGARRUSH Music/MGM.
