Jeff Tweedy, founding member of Wilco, has just announced the release of a new album on September 16 2014.  It’s called Sukierae (pronounced sue-key-ray) and will be a collaboration between Jeff and his 18-year-old son Spencer on drums.  The duo call themselves simply Tweedy.

Here’s more of the story from American Songwriter, a chance to hear a song from the album and Tweedy tour dates in the US (hopefully there may be some more dates announced past September 21 and I’ll get a chance to catch up with a show).
