Crosby Stills Nash and Young 1974 – New Release

My computer tells me that this is my 100th post…and it’s not a hoax!!!!!!! Well it might be true, but while this is not one of my finest efforts, it needs to be said….because I need to update on a previous item on this site that is now out of date.

Crosby Stills Nash and Young have delayed their upcoming live 1974 album until next year, according to Graham Nash. Speaking recently to US ABC Radio News, Nash revised the release date, explaining, “We were gonna bring it out in August, but next year is the 40th anniversary of the tour, and so I’m gonna wait for spring of next year.

“You gotta understand, our shows were three or four hours long and there are four of us and we were all writing like crazy. I just found a one-minute, 10-second song of Neil Young’s about Richard Nixon that I can’t leave off. It’s brilliant… So, my point is, I’m still forming and shaping the album.” Nash claimed the finished album will contain 38 or so tracks.

So there you have it.

If I have reached a milestone here, maybe I deserve a badge, but my dear reader not as big as the badge that YOU deserve for hanging around – I really appreciate it.

Take care and listen to the music.
